The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. The bowl season schedule allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2018 TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

NC State Wolfpack Prospects

*Wide receiver Kelvin Harmon has decided to sit out this bowl game to prepare for the NFL Draft. He is a projected second to third round pick.

*Linebacker Germaine Pratt is out for this game with a knee injury. He is a projected third to fifth round pick.

Garrett Bradbury, C

Bradbury is a three-year starter, who has played well enough to be honored as an All-ACC player. He has anchored an offensive line that has been good at pass blocking over the last three seasons. With the experience and talent he has, Bradbury has a chance to be selected on day two of the 2019 NFL Draft.

He is 6-foot-3 and 300 pounds, which is solid, but he’ll need to beef up a little bit.

Projected draft range: Second round-fourth round

Ryan Finley, QB

Finley transferred in from Boise State and has been a star for the Wolfpack for three seasons. He has thrown for 11,008 yards, 62 touchdowns and 28 interceptions on 64.3% completion for his career. The senior has elevated his game this season with 3,789 passing yards, 24 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 67.9% completion.

At 6-foot-4 and 212 pounds, Finley has great height, which helps him see over the line. His stock, like the other quarterbacks in the class, went up with Justin Herbert’s decision to return to school.

Projected draft range: Third round-fifth round

Texas A&M Aggies Prospects

Erik McCoy, C/OG

McCoy has been a three-year starter with experience at both guard and center. This season, his blocking has helped running back Trayveon Williams lead the SEC in rushing. He’has the necessary skills to be a power-blocker at the next level.

He has solid size at 6-foot-4 and 315 pounds. With good testing before the draft, he could be a day two pick.

Projected draft range: Second round-fourth round

Otaro Alaka, LB

Alaka is a fifth-year senior that has been an impact player for three seasons now. In his career, he has 260 total tackles, 36.5 tackles for loss, 10.5 sacks, one interception, five passes defended and five forced fumbles. This season he has 79 total tackles, 14.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass defended and one forced fumble.

He stands 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, which is great for a linebacker in the NFL.

Projected draft range: Third round-fifth round

Tyler Dodson, LB

Dodson had a great 2017 season and has set himself up well to be selected in the 2019 NFL Draft. At Texas A&M, he has 192 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, six sacks, three interceptions, one touchdown, 11 passes defended and two fumbles recovered. In 2018, Dodson has 61 total tackles, six tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, three passes defended and a fumble recovery.

At 6-foot-2 and 242 pounds, Dodson is a big safety. He needs to show the necessary speed to play the safety position or will be moved to linebacker.

Projected draft range: Third round-fifth round
