Every year since 2013 we have gotten a Pokemon Presents. That expanded to two or more in 2019 and has been that way ever since. Well, that is up until 2024. So far this year we have only had the one Presents back in February for Pokemon Day. So that begs the question, when is the Next 2024 Pokemon Presents?

Evidence For The Next 2024 Pokemon Presents
As of writing this, the Next 2024 Pokemon Presents has not been announced.
The past three years there had been one at the end of the summer in August. Usually we would get more details about what was announced during the Pokemon Day Presents. Sometimes other games were announced as well but more often we would learn more about the new generation games, DLC or Legends Arceus.
But why nothing in August, 2024?
Nintendo Switch 2
It would seem as though Pokemon may be waiting due to the release of the Nintendo Switch 2. It seems likely that Nintendo would want a new Pokemon game for their new system. Especially since a new Zelda was just released and there has not been much rumored or even mentioned about a new Super Smash Brothers which normally releases with new systems.
Pokemon Break
Another possibility could be this break that Pokemon is taking. The last mainline games that they released were Pokemon Scarlet and Violet back in 2022. Since then they released DLC in 2023 and we have only been shown a teaser for Pokemon Legends Z-A which is coming out sometime in 2025.
We know that Generation 10 is being worked on but many believe that those games may not come out until 2026. Breaking the cycle of main games coming out every three years or so. That being said, the Pokemon 30-year Anniversary is 2026, so it would make sense for Pokemon to hold onto their biggest games until then.
So When Could it Actually Be?
Most likely we will get a Pokemon Presents sometime before the end of the year right before the Holiday season in November. This will probably coincide with the Nintendo Switch 2 official announcement that many have been predicting or hinting at since September. So make sure to keep looking out for it.
What Should We Expect In It?
We really should not expect much in the Next 2024 Pokemon Presents.
The reason why is that they are still probably holding onto a lot for Pokemon Day as it is only a few months away. There is even a chance that we will not see another Presents in 2024 and instead Pokemon Day 2025 will be the next bit of information that we get.
Either way, whenever the next one is you can bet we will hear more about Pokemon Legends Z-A. They will announce the Starters and the Release Date while showing a bit more about the game. Aside from that, we could get the next remakes and maybe a teaser for something completely unexpected.
It is The Pokemon Company and if the leaks have shown us anything, they are always working on something new and innovative.
