Rice Fires Head Coach Mike Bloomgren
Rice has fired head coach Mike Bloomgren. He had a record of 2-6 this season and a 24-52 record overall in seven seasons.
Michigan Quarterback Jack Tuttle Retires
Michigan quarterback Jack Tuttle is retiring from football due to injury. He had five concussions during his career. Tuttle played for Utah and Indiana before Michigan. Davis Warren is expected to start moving forward.

- Indiana quarterback Kurtis Rourke could play this weekend against Michigan State with a thumb injury.
- Iowa quarterback Brendan Sullivan will get his first start. Cade McNamara is out with a concussion.
- West Virginia defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley has been fired. Jeff Koonz will take over the position.
- Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton is expected to play this weekend after suffering a left shoulder injury this past week.
- Georgia Tech special teams coordinator Rick Brumfield is no longer with the school.
- UCF defensive coordinator Ted Roof has been fired.
- Pitt starting quarterback Eli Holstein is questionable for Saturday against SMU. Nate Yarnel is getting first-team reps in practice.
- Ohio State offensive tackle Zen Michalski has not been ruled out for the game against Penn State after being carted off against Nebraska.
