Longtime Duck Jakob Silfverberg announced this will be his final season after 12 years in the NHL.
He is one of only three players left from the Duck’s 2017 Western Conference finals team. He is fifth all time in games played with the Ducks. FIfth in all time Ducks goals with 158 as well as seventh in points with 354. He has the most goals of any Duck since he joined the team in 2013.
Silfverberg started his career in Ottawa with the Senators then made his way to the Ducks in 2013. The last five seasons he has served as an assistant captain.
Jakob SIlfverberg is one of the best Ducks players of the last 11 seasons and will surely be missed by his teammates and fans. Silfverberg will play in his final game with the team Thursday when the team takes on the Vegas Golden Knights.
