There have been a few regional fake Pokemon added to Scarlet and Violet. These Pokemon look like other Pokemon but are not necessarily connected to them. It will be interesting to see if Poltchageist ends up as a part of the Sinistea line or truly a regional fake. Regardless this will be a new Grass and Ghost type. One that was born, or so the legend has it, from the soul of a man who was obsessed with Tea. It spreads matcha everywhere stealing the lifeforce of its opponents while also fixing different objects.
Where to find Poltchageist
There is a guaranteed spot to find Poltchageist. It is off to the east from the Festival across the river. The player will find some bamboo growing and there will be Poltchageist and one that has the ability to Terastalize.
