On May 31, 2023, Call of Duty Season 03 released a new creator bundle featuring two of fan-favorite Call of Duty content creators TimTheTatman, and three-time MLG national champion NICKMERCS. The bundles came packed with their own Pro-Tuned Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, Charms, Loading Screens, Emblems, and more. It created an enticing buy for players wanting to embrace their favorite streamers in-game.
However, a few weeks into the release, NICKMERCS tumbled into an LGBTQ debate on Twitter. The tweet stirred up backlash, leading Activision to remove the NICKMERCS Operator Bundle from the Call of Duty Store.
Shortly after NICKMERCS Operator Bundle was removed, influencer TimTheTatman has come forward with a tweet of his own. He announces that he will be supporting his friend, NICKMERCS, by removing his bundle.
For clarification, anyone who purchased the bundles will still be able to use them in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone. The bundles have only been removed from the store so that nobody else can purchase them moving forward.
