Philadelphia is bringing back a key member of the rushing attack that brought them all the way to the Super Bowl last season. Boston Scott is re-signing with the Eagles on a one-year deal reportedly worth up to $2 million.
The NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Aside from a short stint on the New Orleans Saints practice squad, the 27-year-old Scott has spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a sixth round pick of the Saints back in the 2018 NFL Draft.
Scott played in 15 of 17 games last season, starting just two of them. He rushed for 314 yards and three scores and added 15 yards on five catches through the air. 2021 was his best year in terms of scoring, when he rushed for seven touchdowns.
