In part of the trade that sends Jae Crowder to Milwaukee, the Indiana Pacers are receiving Jordan Nwora. Along with Nwora, the Indiana Pacers are also receiving two second round picks, as the Nets get five second rounders.
The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Nwora played his college basketball at the University of Louisville, being drafted with the 45th overall pick in the second round by the Milwaukee Bucks during the 2020 NBA Draft. The Bucks are the only team for which Nwora has played up to this point.
During his rookie season (2020-2021), Nwora became an NBA Champion, as the Bucks went on to win the Finals over the Phoenix Suns. During that NBA Finals run, Nwora played in five games, but played only an average of 6.2 minutes on crowded Milwaukee team.
