Milwaukee Bucks forward Joe Ingles is finally set to return to the court. After almost a year of rehabbing a torn ACL, Ingles is aiming to return during Monday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. This will be his first game as a Buck.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Friday.
Ingles was signed by the Utah Jazz after spending 11 years of his professional career playing in Australia, Spain and Israel. The 35-year-old Australian played for eight seasons in Utah, making the playoffs every year from 2017 until 2021.
He was then traded in a three-team deal to Milwaukee in February of 2022. Due to the injury he suffered in January of 2022, he has been unable to play for the Bucks, as stated above. The Bucks sit in second place in the east, with a record of 20-8.
