The finish line is nearing and some teams are sprinting towards it while others are limping. It is a new week and teams have had a chance to make their adjustments. Here are the LEC 2022 Week 7 Power Rankings.

10. Team BDS
Owning the longest losing streak at six games right now, BDS are struggling mightily. They certainly have players with playmaking ability but lack the discipline to finish their win conditions. This has certainly been a humbling Split for the newest addition to the LCS but hopefully one full of learning moments. They still have an extremely outside chance of making the playoffs but they will need a Schalke 04 type miracle run.
9. Astralis
Also not completely out of it somehow are Astralis. this team is so odd because it feels like they are in every game but even with these veterans, it is Dajor who is willing them to victory. If Astralis are serious about competing in the Summer they need to make some major changes and build around Dajor. This is true even if they somehow find a way into playoffs.
8. MAD Lions
This has to be the lowest MAD Lions have ever been in the standings. Elyoya and Kaiser are really trying to get this team over the hump but there are some major obstacles in their way on their own team. Armut is Armut and will have his bad games but those balance out with his great ones. UNF0RGIVEN has been really solid but not overly clutch thanks in part to Kaiser. The problems lie in the mid lane with Reeker. He has had a really bad first Split and it feels like if MAD miss playoffs, he may be the first one in line to get the boot.
7. SK Gaming
This team looked truly dead in the water and then things started to click. They have rattled off wins in four of their last six games after an abysmal start and now are looking primed for a playoff push. Lead by Treatz, SK are seeing Gilius continue to make plays even from behind. The younger players in Jezu and Sertuss are stepping up and Jenax is having arguably his best split since moving from the mid lane. This team works well together and are ready to takedown any team that tries to stand in their way.
6. Vitality
The talent on this team is undeniable and fans have had a chance to see it during this split. Unfortunately, they are prone to getting in their own way and losing multiple games in a row. Specifically, they have lost three of their last four. While losing to Fnatic and Rogue may not be a major shock, if they believe they are the most talented team in the LEC, then they need to win at least one game against top teams. Even holding the last playoff spot, it feels like Vitality still have enough steam to swipe a playoff spot but an 0-2 weekend against SK and Misfits may spell the end of their Spring.
5. Excel
Is this it? Are Excel finally ready to take the next step and make playoffs? The addition of Mikyx has certainly helped but Markoon stepping up along with Patrik has been crucial to this team’s success. They are playing around objectives with a purpose, setting things up in a more timely manner and they are winning the macro game. This team looks poised to continue challenging top-level teams and finally break their curse.
4. G2 Esports
G2 are very close to finding themselves and making waves during playoffs. Of course, Jankos and Caps are performing mostly as expected. Solid but with occasional rough games. But the surprise of Targamas has shades of Trymbi written all over him. His champion pool in basically an ocean and he is making a lot of right decisions that rookies normally don’t make. If he can continue to help Flakked improve and Broken Blade can continue to be a weak side king, G2 are going to be looking great with best-ofs coming up.
3. Misfits
Misfits have easily been the surprise of the year in the LEC. It would seem as though Neon just needed another chance and Mersa is only adding to the amazing European support pool. With HiRit being a rock for this team and Shaltan performing well, it is no surprise this team is performing well. Even with all of them playing well, it is Vetheo who is showing that he may be one of the top mids in a very stacked LEC. He is first in kills for mid laners and second in the LEC, he is roaming well and playing at an extremely high level. There is no doubt that Misfits are to be feared heading into these final weeks.
2. Fnatic
Even with how well Misfits have been playing and Fnatic dropping some games, Fnatic are still an amazing team. They occasionally lose leverage in fights which has been hurting them but overall, this team has really come together quicker than most would have imagined. Upset and Hyli are still one of if not the best bot lane duo in the LEC, Wunder is back to his G2 days, Humanoid continues to be one of the best roaming and laning mid laners in the league and Razork brings the necessary aggression to make this clock tick. No team should want to face Fnatic during these final two weeks.
1. Rogue
Even after losing their young MVP jungler and all-pro bot laner, Rogue keep on chugging. Fans were worried after they lost their first games but their fired right back in week 6 to keep their throne. Right now the biggest question becomes whether or not they will keep this up in the playoffs? Choking in anything other than the regular season has been this teams Achilles Heel, especially Larssen. Luckily for him, Trymbi continues to get better somehow and Odo is as consistent as they come. Rogue have already secured a playoff spot and with a 2-0 week 7, they could lockup the top seed as well.
