The Dallas Mavericks have traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Washington Wizards. In return for Porzingis, the Mavericks will receive Davis Bertans and Spencer Dinwiddie.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the news via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

Porzingis began his career as a New York Knick, garnering fame after Knicks fans were initially disappointed with his drafting. He is a unique 7-footer with long-range shooting ability and surprisingly nimble footwork on the court. He has been playing with the Mavericks for two seasons before today’s trade.
Dinwiddie has been an under-the-radar huge contributor to the Washington Wizards. He has averaged 12.6 points per game with the Wizards, along with 5.8 rebounds per game. From 2016 until last year, he was a Nets mainstay.
