The next three teams on the Eagles schedule are the Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions, and the Los Angeles Chargers. This is another tough stretch for the Eagles, and nothing is guaranteed with these three games. The Raiders finished second in the AFC West behind the Kansas City Chiefs and could make the playoffs in 2021.
As for the Lions, they just traded their long-time quarterback Matthew Stafford. Jarrod Goff is now at the helm for Detroit, who hopes he can take them places in the future.
Finally, the Chargers have upstart quarterback Justin Herbert, who has shown early signs of success. The Chargers finished 7-9 in the AFC West, but there is every reason to believe they will only get better.
Here is part three of Early Eagles Season Predictions.

Eagles vs Raiders, 10/24, 4:05 PM
After facing the Buccaneers at home the week before, the Eagles schedule only gets tougher as they head to the west coast and take on the Las Vegas Raiders. The Raiders feature Derrick Carr, who has shown success on the Raiders in past. He had over 4,000 passing yards last season and passed for 27 touchdowns. He will be one of the keys to the Raiders success in this game. Las Vegas also has Josh Jacobs, who had two 1,000 yard seasons in his first two seasons in the NFL.
This means the Eagles will need to find a way to stop the run in this game. The defensive line will need to get a lot of push and bottle up Jacobs as much as possible. They also need to be on their toes as Carr has the ability to burn them if he can find one of his receivers. As said in other articles, the Eagles offense just need to score points and keep up with these high-powered teams. Play action will be their best friend this year as Hurts can run and they have Dallas Goedert, who can burn defenses if he finds a way to get open. The Eagles have a good defense and that is what wins them this game, but it will be close.
Prediction: Eagles Win: 24-21
Eagles vs Lions, 10/31, 1 PM
This game against the Lions is a huge opportunity for a solid win. Goff will not turn Detroit around in just one year. It will be a process to get them back to their winning ways. The Lions also have a new coach in Dan Campbell, which will be another growing pain as he is a first-year head coach. The Eagles can win this game by playing great defense and provide the offense with a few turnovers. Look for the Eagles to have success on the offensive side of the ball and win this game by more than a touchdown.
Prediction: Eagles Win: 24-10
Eagles vs Chargers, 11/7, 4:05 PM
The last game in part three of this series is a November game against the Chargers in Philadelphia. As stated above, Justin Herbert has shown success in the NFL and could be their quarterback for years to come. He had over 4,000 yards during his rookie year and 31 passing touchdowns. He has weapons such as Keenan Allen  who had just under a 1,000 receiving yards last year. Mike Williams is also another threat, as he had over 700 receiving yards in 2020.
If the Eagles have a chance at winning this game, they will need to keep Herbert’s receiving weapons on lock down. Darius Slay and the secondary will also need a way to create turnovers and rattle the young star quarterback. The Eagles will also need to blitz Herbert and make him as uncomfortable in the pocket as possible. Look for the Eagles to bank on their running game and Miles Sanders and Boston Scott regularly. This will provide the Eagles with an opportunity to get receivers open throughout the game. The Chargers are underrated, and they will have better record than they did last season. Look for the Eagles to fall in this one.
Prediction: Chargers Win: 31-24
Eagles Record after Part Three: 4-5
