After not hearing much about the League of Legends animated show since the 10 Year Anniversary, a teaser trailer has dropped. Arcane will be coming this Fall but almost more surprising, it will be coming out on Netflix. This was not something that had been known up to this point but for many League of Legends fans, it could be seen as a welcome surprise or potentially a problematic one. Here is the trailer and some pictures from Arcane, League of Legends’ new Netflix show.

One has to wonder how Netflix was able to get Dota 2 and League of Legends on their platform. As they have been since League of Legends creation, these two MOBA behemoths will do battle. This time it will be to see which show is best.
Dota’s show, “Dragon’s Blood” has received a lot of praise so far. It’s score as of writing this article on Rottentomatoes is a 70% from critics and a 93% from fans. That said the biggest advantage it currently has is that it will be done in seasons. Will Arcane?
This will be a major question as more comes out about the show. If it is just a one-off season it definitely wouldn’t be a bad thing, if it is done correctly. Moreover, it is whether or not Riot Games and League of Legends have plans for more? Fans will get to find out more as the planned release will be coming out this fall, 2021.
