Golden State Warriors rookie center James Wiseman suffered a torn meniscus in his right knee in Saturday’s victory over the Houston Rockets. The injury occurred when Wiseman landed awkwardly after his attempted dunk was blocked. The play can be seen in the video below.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Warriors would be consulting doctors in the next few days but there is, “an expectation that Wiseman could miss the rest of the regular season.” In 39 games this season, Wiseman averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
