Free agent forward Derrick Favors is going back to the Jazz on a three-year, $27 million deal with the Utah Jazz according to the Athletic’s Tony Jones.

Favors, 29, started his career out with the Nets before being traded to the Jazz. He played with the Jazz for parts of nine seasons before joining the Pelicans last season. The veteran big man has averaged 11.4 points and 7.4 rebounds in his NBA career.
The Jazz started Favors for years and could do so again in the frontcourt next to Rudy Gobert.
