The New York Mets have acquired Todd Frazier and Robinson Chirinos in a trade with the Texas Rangers according to Ken Rosenthal. They have also made a trade with Baltimore for Miguel Castro.

Frazier, 34, is a two-time All-Star who played for the Mets in 2018 and 2019 before joining the Rangers this offseason. He has also spent time with the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds. His career batting average is .243 and he has 216 home runs and 631 RBIs in his career.
The Mets also acquired Chirinos, a 36-year-old catcher from the Rangers. He is a .231 hitter with 85 home runs and 264 RBIs.
Castro is a 25-year-old reliever that the Mets received from Baltimore. He has a 4.30 ERA in his career and has posted a 4.02 ERA this season.
There are no details on what the Mets gave up in the trades yet.
