Adams, 24, requested a trade early this offseason and doubled down on it throughout the last few months. Recently, he made comments stating that head coach Adam Gase is not the “right leader” for the Jets.
In his three-year career, Adams has made the Pro Bowl two times and been an All-Pro once. He played in 14 games in 2019 and had 75 total tackles, one interception, two forced fumbles and one touchdown in 2019.
The Seahawks gave up a lot to get Adams, but they have not had an elite secondary since the “Legion of Boom” defense has moved on. Adams will hope to lead the Seahawks to postseason success, much like the L.O.B. did.
