Philadelphia Eagles right guard Brandon Brooks is out for the entire 2020-2021 season after tearing his left Achilles tendon.
The three-time Pro Bowler and Super Bowl champion was announced to have torn his Achilles on Monday. He confirmed the injury via his personal Twitter account.
So I guess now that news is out yes I tore my other Achilles but when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I’ll be back and better than ever. Appreciate the love ✊🏽

Brooks made the Pro Bowl in consecutive years (2017-2019), and signed a four-year, $54.2 million contract at the end of the 2019 season. The Eagles have him locked up through 2024.
He missed the Eagles’ postseason games last year after dislocating his shoulder in the final game of the 2019 season. This ankle injury marks the second major injury in less than a calendar year for the stalwart guard.
This injury may give some time to newly drafted Jack Driscoll, a fourth round pick out of Auburn. Brooks will almost surely not be able to take a single snap in 2020. Assuming the season takes place, Philadelphia will have to look in-house for their replacement.
