Robinson, 24, started his career out with the Lions for the first four years. He had three tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks last season. In his first four years, Robinson totaled 16 tackles for loss and five sacks. He has started 37 games in his first four seasons.
The Rams needed to acquire more defensive linemen, as Michael Brockers left in free agency and joined the Baltimore Ravens. Robinson will give them a solid starter.
