Hunt, 32, has been a starter for the Colts over his three seasons with the team. He has 105 career tackles and 23 tackles for loss in his career. He started his career with the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played four seasons before joining the Colts.
The Colts save $4 million by cutting Hunt, but will need to address the interior of their defensive line in free agency or the NFL Draft.
