Today it was reported that the Overwatch League would be officially collaborating with streetwear design brand Staple Pigeon for new 2020 jerseys. These will be the new official home and away jerseys for each of the 20 OWL teams and will be available for preorder on January 28 on the OWL website.
This was first announced via businesswire.com. A link to the video of the official announcement launch, featuring several OWL players and Pigeon CEO Jeff Staple can be accessed here. First looks of the new jersey designs can be seen in the images below.
According to Jon Spector, OWL Senior Product Designer, these will be the official jerseys that will be worn next season, replacing the old iteration. There are still questions regarding whether these will be individualized or not and what the status of the previous alternate jerseys are, however, answers to these questions will likely surface in the coming hours or days.
In any case, The Game Haus will continue to track any news and developments on this exciting new collaboration. Stay tuned.
