Marshall, 29, has played seven seasons in the NFL. He started his career with the Jaguars and developed into a good player with the Broncos before joining the Raiders this offseason. He has 423 total tackles in his career and one Super Bowl that came with the Broncos.
The Raiders were projected to keep Marshall and possibly start him, but will now look to young players to step up and fill the void.
