Yanis “Alpha54” Champenois has left FC Barcelona to join Team SoloMid, sources tell The Game Haus. Aldin “Ronaky” Hodzic has left Triple Trouble to replace Alpha54 on FC Barcelona, according to a source close to the team.
The move comes completely from the blindside. Triple Trouble announced via their Twitter page that Ronaky had left the team, and sources have confirmed he is leaving to fill the FC Barcelona vacancy.
Roster announcement:@RonakyRL has left the roster as of 29/07/19. @TadpoleRL assumes captaincy of Triple Trouble.

Alpha54 was the League MVP in EU in just his first Rocket League Championship Series season. The young phenom led Savage! to the RLCS in just his first eligible season after turning 15. He replaces Jordan “EyeIgnite” Stellon, who was kicked from TSM earlier this month.
TSM adds one of EU’s youngest and most exciting stars to their core of Otto “Metsanauris” Kaipiainen and Remco “Remkoe” den Boer. After finishing sixth in EU in Season 7, a change seemed necessary for a top tier org just getting into Rocket League.
Ronaky is one of the founding members of Triple Trouble, and leaves for FC Barcelona after three competitive seasons with the team. Ronaky led EU in SHPG, and led his team in GPG and SAPG. He’s another star on the rise, and finds a more stable landing spot with the football super-club.
Triple Trouble must retain the services of Andy “Kassio” Landais in order to compete in Season 8 of the RLCS due to the 2/3 rule. Euan “Tadpole” Ingram will stay with TT as captain and will be tasked with finding Ronaky’s replacement. EyeIgnite played with Triple Trouble during the DreamHack: Montreal qualifiers.
Tadpole made mention of how unexpected and the “sheer lack of professionalism” on Twitter.
Sad to see my teammate of 18 months leaving, especially with the sheer lack of professionalism from pretty much every person and organisation involved in it, although that seems to be a regular off-season thing at this point I guess. No idea what the plan is from here. https://t.co/pKNnn8uIll

It’s a harsh blow for Triple Trouble, who relied heavily on Ronaky’s production, but FC Barcelona find a solid replacement for Alpha54. Alpha joins a massive esports org that will be well equipped to continue to develop him as a player.
