For starters, TFT Set 8 will have a combination of a lot of different things from past Sets. The most important part is that Augments, originally from Set 6, will be officially added to the game. This means that every Set for TFT moving forward will have some form of Augments.
Next, it was added that there would be a way to buff Heroes and Villians in the game similar to Set 4. then in combination from Set 3, Mechs and Star Guardians will officially be making their way back into the game. What was cut was anything that would take up more than one unit size like Colossus or the many Dragons from Dragonlands. They truly want players to have the freedom to build their “Team of Super Heroes”.
Another major addition, and one to Riot Mort’s chagrin, is that Rammus will finally be making his way into TFT. TFT Rammus will be a part of a brand new trait called Threat which sounds like a doozy.
There are so many other aspects that will be coming to the game in the future. Fans of TFT will surely be looking forward to TFT Set 8 as it should be a fun one.
