Former USC quarterback, Jack Sears, is transferring to Boise State. After graduating in the spring, Sears has chosen to join the Broncos for next season, and can play right away.
Boise State football’s official twitter account made the news official on Tuesday morning.

Sears played in only one game for USC. In that game against Arizona State, he completed 20 of 28 passes for 235 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed 10 times for 10 yards in the game. The Trojans lost the game 38-35.
Suffering from being far down on the depth chart, Sears likely wanted to use his last year of eligibility to have a better shot at some playing time. He will likely only have to compete with one other QB during his time at Boise State.
