The semifinals of the PUBG Global Championship are about to kick off, and the teams are all ready to go. 24 teams have made it through after battling it out with all the teams that had their eyes set on the prize. Some teams are coming off a small break, while others are coming hot off of their elimination stage battle. Now that the teams are split up into their three groups, who will be the power houses that move on?
Group A
Group A has a lot of strength distributed in it. TSM are possibly the strongest side in this group. They were very dominant in the group stage, getting two big wins under their belt. They will be looking to continue their great run as they have their eyes set on the ultimate prize. Tempo Storm are another big player in this group. They finished third in their group, and put up a decent amount of kills overall. They had some struggles, but they managed to pull together towards the end, and secure a straight shot into the semifinals.
Group B
Next up is Group B. Genesis are one of the shining stars in this group. They made it out of their group ending on a solid 15-kill win that displayed their great teamwork. The former Cloud9 side have a point to prove, and they will be sure to use their momentum to their advantage in the semifinals. Both OGN Entus Force and Ace are in this group as well. Ace won their group with a commanding 57 points, while Force ended up in fourth place in their group. Both of these teams are strong and will be difficult to deal with.
The Rumblers and VC Gaming are also sides that are worth mentioning from this group. They were both sent into the elimination round, but they came out unscathed. They will be ready to take on this second chance and prove that they have what it takes to make it through to the grand finals of the PUBG Global Championship.
Group C
Group C is a very deadly group. First up, they have FaZe Clan among the teams. FaZe finish in second in their group, just barely missing the first-place spot. They are a team that knows how to win, and if they catch their stride, they could be unstoppable. This group also holds Four Angry Men. They were the second-place team in their group, also missing first place just by a few points. They are a seasoned side, that know how to work together. They will be a favorite to move on to the grand finals.
Alongside those two powerhouses, this group also holds teams like Afreeca Freecs Fatal and Ghost Gaming. Both of them have been on a roll as well, and they will be ready to give the others a run for their money. This group has a lot of potential, and any teams could find their ways to the finals if they put their heads down and find their form.
