Jeong ‘Stalk3r’ Hakyong has parted ways with the Seoul Dynasty. He has been transferred to the Atlanta Reign for the Season 6 of the Overwatch League. Stalk3r was not a free agent this off-season, so this move was surprising. Other than a cryptic tweet from Stalk3r a couple hours before the announcement there wasn’t much prior warning.
Stalk3r joined the Seoul Dynasty in Season 5 after being a part of the Gen.G Contenders team. As a DPS his hero pool was greatly overlapping with Park ‘Profit’ Junyoung and Kim ‘FITS’ Dongeon. For much of Season 5 he was a bench player. Stalk3r did have some amazing plays during the season and a great wealth of potential. According to Arnold Hur, CEO of Gen.G and the Seoul Dynasty, Stalker will be receiving a bigger contract with the Reign than what was guaranteed with the Dynasty.
Tiger Nation is saddened to see a player that has been with Gen.G so long go elsewhere, but hopefully the community will get to see Stalk3r at his full potential next season.
