Overwatch League Season Two is mere days away, but that still leaves room for speculation. Last season, the Dallas Fuel had many internal problems such as roster changes and synergy. Dallas struggled for the first three stages, but brought it back at the very end with a new coach and roster structure. This new season brings a big question that could make or break the Fuel, who will be the shot caller on the Dallas Fuel?
The shot caller on a team means what it says, a person calling the strategy to run, the targets to focus, the in-game leader. During the last stage of OWL season one, Jonathan “HarryHook” Tejedor Rua was made the shot caller. With this new in-game leader, Dallas made Stage Four playoffs, much further than any other stage. All seems fine, right? Not quite. Harryhook was the shot caller last season, now there are new players on the Dallas Fuel roster, namely Won-sik “Closer” Jung. Closer has the same in-game role as Harryhook, the main support heroes like Mercy and Lucio.
With this addition to the roster, Harryhook believes that Closer will be the starting main support on the Dallas Fuel. See what he says here:

This leaves an empty space in the Dallas Fuel’s roster, who will be the shot caller and lead the team up on the stage? Looking at the current roster, people can speculate who will fill this role. So far, there are two strong candidates.
OGE
Min-seok “OGE” Son is the main tank for Dallas Fuel. He would make a good candidate for shot caller on the team because of his in-game role, leading the charge in fights as Reinhardt or jumping in first as Winston. Not only that, but OGE will be starting, likely playing every game this season because he is the only main tank on the Dallas Fuel.
Right now, there is nobody who could take his role on the team, so making him the shot caller for the team could be a strong choice.
uNKOE
Benjamin “uNKOE” Chevasson is also a candidate for the shotcaller position for some of the same reasons as OGE. The Frenchman is the only one on the Dallas Fuel who his playing his role, the flex support. There would be no starting issues for his position and therefore his role as shot caller.
Not only that but his role in the back line being able to see the whole fight could make leading easier. Also as Zenyatta setting a Discord Orb on an enemy makes for an easy target to focus down if called out.
Closing Thoughts
The Dallas Fuel management know what they are doing and likely have an in-game leader set up to start off the season strong. Fans will have to speculate until Dallas Fuel announce who be leading in-game, or even if there will be a single leader.
