The Outlaws will have one of their core pieces coming back for 2021. On Tuesday, October 27, Dante “Danteh” Cruz announced he will be returning to the Houston Outlaws for the fourth season of the Overwatch League.

Danteh marks the second member of a Houston rebuild, with the other member being João Pedro “Hydration” Goes Telles as his contract extends through 2021. After a relatively successful 2020, Danteh became a free agent as Houston did not want to extend his previous contract after the season. However, as it stands now, it looks like the Outlaws wanted to finalize their front office first before making roster moves.
The Houston Outlaws are looking to revamp their image for 2021, most likely starting with transitioning to an all-western roster. Led by new General Manager Matt “Coolmatt” Iorio and new head coach Jae “Junkbuck” Choi, the Outlaws hope to bounce back from a 6-15 record in 2020.
