In the afternoon of Saturday, April 25th, the Boston Uprising announced the departure of assistant coach Ilias “iLka” Kaskanetas.
Assistant coach @iLka_ow is taking a hiatus from competitive Overwatch coaching.
We wish him the best in his future and are thankful for his coaching insight this season.

The rookie OWL coach joined the team after a successful season coaching Atlanta Academy, and a season coaching the Angry Titans. Ilka’s departure comes at a tough time for Boston, as just last week the team lost Gabriel “Swimmer” Levy as well.
Left to coach the Uprising are head coach Vytis “Mineral” Lasaitis, Rollon “Mini” Hamelin, and Valentin “Ascoft” Wulfman. Unfortunately for the Uprising, Ascoft is still in France due to visa issues and the Corona Virus pandemic. Boston will continue to compete in their match this weekend against the Mayhem, despite iLka’s decision to step away.
