On Tuesday, April 14th, the Boston Uprising announced the departure of main-support Gabriel “Swimmer” Levy. In a statement from the Uprising, the two parties had mutually decided to part ways.
We are mutually parting ways with @SwimmerOW as he steps back from competition.
We're thankful for his efforts this season and wish him success in his next endeavor.

In a short few moments after, Swimmer had posted a follow up announcement, noting his decision to step away from the competitive environment of OWL. In his post, he had highlighted his drive to get back into streaming and content creation, while he continues to search what he wants to do going forward.

This is the second time a player has decided to move on from the Uprising in search for other opportunities. In early March, Sang-beom “Munchkin” Byeon stepped away from the Uprising and shortly joined Lucky Future after the announcement.
This departure leaves the Uprising with a total of 6 players, with Minseob “Axxiom” Park still away from the team due to injury.
