How to get Overwatch 2 Beta Keys

After years of waiting, and a countless amount of teasers, Overwatch 2 is here. The beta for the game officially dropped on August 26. And though initially not all players were able to access the game right away, the developers announced some great news. In their twitter post, they stated that 1500 Beta Keys were being released per hour.  So to help players access the game, here is how to get the Overwatch 2 Beta Keys.

Announced in the video, players will have a chance to access the Overwatch 2 Open Beta by viewing the Overwatch League over the weekend. They’re celebrating the fifth season of the Overwatch League by handing out 1500 Overwatch 2  Beta Keys per hour. The event is occurring on YouTube. To make use of this opportunity, Click the Rewards button towards to bottom. Make sure the viewers YouTube account is connected to their BattleNet account. Then, watch the stream for a chance to gain the exclusive rewards!

Note, the connected email must be the account that players use for Overwatch. In addition, the base Overwatch game must be already be purchased on PC.

There are alternative ways for gaining access to the Beta. Another way is by using the link here. Once again, this requires players to have their email for their BattleNet account on hand.  It’s not necessarily a guaranteed method, but it’s definitely worth a try.
