Tom Brady has announced his retirement from the NFL and this time he says it is for good. He released a video on Tuesday stating the news.
Brady, 45, retired after last season, but returned for the 2022 season. In his 23-year career, Brady passed for 89,214 yards, 649 touchdowns and 212 interceptions on 64.3 percent completion. He won seven Super Bowls, six coming with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady made the Pro Bowl 15 times and won the MVP award three times.
In his last season, Brady passed for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns and nine interceptions on 66.8 percent completion. The Buccaneers made the playoffs, but lost in the first round to the Cowboys.
The Buccaneers will move ahead with Kyle Trask as the only active quarterback signed for the 2023 season.
