Joe Flacco is being waived due to a failed physical. Last year, he played in eight games with his new team, the Denver Broncos, before suffering a neck injury which ended his season.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news via Twitter on Thursday.
Broncos just informed former Super-Bowl MVP Joe Flacco that he is being waived with a failed physical designation, per source.
Flacco now joins a group of free-agent QBs looking for work.

Now that he is being waived, Flacco will have only played half of one season in Denver before needing another team. His record with the Broncos was 2-6, as he threw six touchdowns to five interceptions. He also collected 1,822 yards on 65.3 percent completion percentage.
Flacco is a Super Bowl champion/MVP, as the Baltimore Ravens handed the San Francisco 49ers their first Super Bowl loss as a franchise. It is unclear what the market will be for him, as he is dealing with a debilitating neck injury.
