The Seattle Seahawks have added to their much-improved offensive line by signing a long-time veteran. 41-year-old offensive tackle Jason Peters has reportedly signed with Seattle, likely on a one-year deal. He will be 42 in January.
PFF’s Ari Meirov reported the news via Twitter on Tuesday.
Peters went undrafted in the 2004 NFL Draft, but was picked up by the Buffalo Bills in April of that same offseason. He spent five seasons there before joining the Eagles from 2009-2020, then bounced to the Bears and Cowboys in back-to-back seasons.
During his long career, Peters won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles over the Patriots. He also has been selected to two First Team All-Pro and four Second Team All-Pro squads while making nine Pro Bowls. He’s also a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team.
