The New Orleans Saints will be down five key players, as they have been ruled out with injuries. Wide receivers Jarvis Landry and Michael Thomas, guard Andrus Peat, cornerback Marshon Lattimore and tight end Adam Trautman are all out for Thursday Night Football against the Cardinals.
The NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
These five players are all out with various injuries, leaving the Saints shorthanded; especially their offense. Landry and Trautman have ankle injuries and Thomas is dealing with a foot. Peat and Lattimore are both out with a chest and an abdomen injury, respectively.
The 2-4 Saints sit one game behind the Falcons and Buccaneers (both 3-3) in the standings. Arizona sits in last in the NFC West, also with a 2-4 record. The beneficiary of the three pass catcher injuries will likely be the rookie receiver Chris Olave.
