The 2020 NFL Draft will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada beginning on April 23. On Tuesday, an image was released showing what the stage will look like. The stage will be directly in front of the famous fountains of the Bellagio hotel, on the water.
The Los Angeles Times’ Arash Markazi tweeted an image of the stage after the photo was released.

Apparently, the players will be escorted to the stage on a boat after their names are called by Roger Goodell. There will also be a red carpet from the area in front of the fountain to the stage. It seems as if the viewing area will be on the land in front of the fountains as well.
Since the 2015 NFL Draft, the league has been moving the draft from city to city after a scheduling conflict prevented it from taking place in Radio City Music Hall, where it had taken place from 1965-2014. 2015 and 2016 saw the draft hosted in Chicago, 2017 was in front of the “Rocky” steps in Philadelphia, 2018 took place in the Dallas Cowboys’ stadium, and last year saw the draft travel to Broadway Street in Nashville.
Since the Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas in 2020, this seems like the perfect way to introduce the NFL to Sin City.
The 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals will be the first on the clock on Thursday, April 23. They are expected to take quarterback Joe Burrow, of the National Champion LSU Tigers.
