Trubisky, 27, was the first-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2017. He signed with the Buffalo Bills last season to back up Josh Allen.
Throughout his career, Trubisky has started 50 games, passing for 10,652 yards, 64 touchdowns and 38 interceptions on 64.1 percent completion.
Pittsburgh has needed a quarterback to take over for Ben Roethlisberger after he retired following the 2021 season. Trubisky will now likely compete with Mason Rudolph and Dwayne Haskins for the starting quarterback job.
