The Philadelphia Eagles have traded the New Orleans Saints for safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson and have also cut Anthony Harris according to multiple reports.
Chauncey Gardner-Johnson has 28 passes defended and five interceptions in his three-year career. After contract talks broke down with the Saints, New Orleans decided to trade the safety of the Eagles.
To help facilitate the move, the Eagles cut Anthony Harris, who started at safety last season.
The Eagles will also receive the Saints’ seventh-round pick in 2025. New Orleans receives a fifth-round pick in 2023 and the worst sixth-round of the two teams in 2024.
