The Packers will be without two exciting rookies on Thanksgiving and beyond. Luke Musgrave, one of two tight ends Green Bay took in the draft, suffered a lacerated kidney. Emmanuel Wilson suffered a shoulder injury. Both are on IR.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news via Twitter on Wednesday.
Musgrave, as stated above, is one of two rookie tight ends featured by the Packers this year. He was a second round pick (42nd overall) by the team, and has played in 10 games, catching 33 balls for 341 yards and one touchdown.
Wilson went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft and found his way to the Packers after being waived just three days post-first signing. He only has 85 yards on the year, along with four receptions, but has not scored in the league yet.
