The New Orleans Saints have signed running back Malcolm Brown the team announced Tuesday on social media.
The #Saints signed former #Rams and #Dolphins RB Malcolm Brown, which is their second one in recent years. A few years back, it was DT Malcom Brown. https://t.co/jUBvSjWNZ7

Brown, 29, has played seven NFL seasons for the Rams and Dolphins. In his career, he has rushed for 1,313 yards and 12 touchdowns. For the 2021 season with the Dolphins, Brown had 125 rushing yards and one touchdown.
The signing gives the Saints more depth at running back, which may be more important if Alvin Kamara ends up being suspended for an incident in Las Vegas while he was there for the Pro Bowl. Currently, the other running backs on the roster include Mark Ingram, Dwayne Washington, Tony Jones and Abram Smith.
