Per Schefter, Harry has battled an ankle injury this preseason. He will be allowed to return to the team later this season.
Thomas was cut, but was re-signed by the Patriots, which was their plan from the start. Thomas will now give the Patriots more wide receiver depth while Harry recovers from his injury. The 31-year-old receiver has 688 receptions for 9,330 yards and 62 touchdowns in his career. Last season with the Texans and Broncos, he totaled 59 receptions for 677 yards and five touchdowns.
