Winston, 28, is a former first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has 20,982 passing yards, 135 touchdowns and 91 interceptions on 61.2 percent completion.
The Florida State Seminole took over as the Saints starting quarterback in 2021 for Drew Brees who retired. He passed for 1,170 yards, 14 touchdowns and three interceptions on 59 percent completion in seven games played. Winston missed the end of the season with an ACL tear.
The Saints will hope that a healthy Winston can lead them back into the playoffs in 2021. There will be a lot of new faces, as Dennis Allen has taken over for Sean Payton as head coach.
