The Jaguars signed Jones in free agency. Jones, 31, has played for the Lions and Bengals in his nine-year career. For his career, Jones has amassed 423 catches for 6,025 yards and 51 touchdowns.
To acquire Brown, Jacksonville completed a trade with the New Orleans Saints, who were considering releasing him before trading him. The 27-year-old defensive tackle has played for the Saints and Patriots, where he won two Super Bowls, in his career.
Jacksonville has been active in the legal tampering period, adding several key players. The team had a lot of cap space to use as they prepare for the NFL Draft, where they have the number one pick.
