The Carolina Panthers have agreed to a deal with safety Xavier Woods for three years and $15.75 million according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Woods, 26, has played five NFL seasons in his career. Four of those seasons were with the Cowboys, while last season, he played for the Vikings. He has eight interceptions and 28 passes defended in his career. For the 2021 season, Woods had 10 passes defended and three interceptions.
The Panthers have Jeremy Chinn, but needed more help at safety. Woods will help fill that role.
