The Buffalo Bills have signed free-agent tight end O.J. Howard according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. Howard is getting a one-year, $3.5 million deal.

Howard is a former first-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has 119 receptions for 1,737 yards and 15 touchdowns. In the last two seasons Howard’s usage has dropped off with the Buccaneers using Rob Gronkowski.
In Buffalo, Howard will compete with returning tight end Dawson Knox for playing time. With the additions of Von Miller and Howard, the Bills are gearing up for a run at the Super Bowl.
