A few weeks after they signed him to a deal, the Arizona Cardinals are releasing Michael Crabtree. ESPN’s Adam Schefter was first to report the news.

Crabtree played in two games for the Cardinals this season with four receptions for 22 yards. He received $500,000 in signing bonus and will eventually earn his $1.75 million eventually per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Cardinals will now lean on their young receivers including Christian Kirk, Damiere Byrd, Andy Isabella and more. With Larry Fitzgerald leading the way the young receivers will have to come along fast to help rookie quarterback Kyler Murray.
