1. Kelvin Banks, OT, Texas Longhorns
Texas looked lost in the first half against Georgia and they were unable to come back in the second half. Their offensive line specifically didn’t play well, which gave Georgia the chance to win the game. Kelvin Banks has played well this season, but struggled in this game. He allowed a sack in the game.
One bad game won’t tank Banks’s stock, as he had only given up two sacks in his entire career before the game. He still is a good athlete for the position and has been good in pass pro. Banks has plenty of college football left to play, but he could still be the first offensive tackle selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
2. Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia’s defense looked much improved against Texas, which helped them win the game. Their pass rush was specifically impressive, as they tallied seven sacks. Williams had his best game of the season, adding to that total. He finished the game with three tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks.
Due to injury, Williams has not been able to play up to his potential so far this season. This game puts him back on track. The strength of the Georgia pass rush stood out, specifically for Williams and Jalon Walker. It might be hard for Williams to build his stock up enough to be the first edge selected, but this game helps.
3. Tyler Booker, IOL, Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama suffered a loss to Tennessee. Their offense was inconsistent and some of the blame lies at the line of scrimmage. Tyler Booker played well though. He allowed one pressure, but did well in the running game.
Booker is still in line to be the first interior offensive lineman selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. He is big for the interior and uses his strength well. While his mobility might not rank near the top of the class, his ability to play well in tight spaces makes him a good player.
4. Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan Wolverines
Michigan lost a tough one on the road to Illinois. The defense mostly played well, despite giving up 21 points, because the offense didn’t move the ball consistently. Kenneth Grant played well with four total tackles and one tackle for loss.
Grant has built up his stock this year, as he has shown insane movement abilities for a player his size. He can be so disruptive when he is aggressive. If he can work on maintaining his leverage and taking on double teams better it will help his stock.
5. Cam Ward, QB, Miami Hurricanes
Miami had another close call, but was able to defeat Louisville by seven. Their offense has stepped up when they’ve needed them the most, as they scored 52 points. Cam Ward played well, finishing the game with 319 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Ward has played great football this season with his arm talent and ability to extend plays fueling him. He still needs to make better decisions, as he can be reckless when he is extending plays at times. His play this season has put him in position to be the first quarterback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.
