While the 2025 NFL Draft is still far off in the distance, players that will be drafted early are on the field now. Each week presents unique matchups for draft prospects and this week is no different. Here are NFL Draft prospects to watch in college football week 11.
1. Emery Jones, OT, LSU Tigers
LSU has had a solid season so far, with just two losses. The reason they have been so successful is their passing attack. That has been helped by the pass protection this season. The offensive line has played well, including Emery Jones.
This week LSU will be going up against Alabama. For the Tigers to win, the passing attack will have to be on point. Jones can help with that, as he has been a good pass blocker this season. He is a solid athlete who anchors well in pass protection. Jones can struggle to get leverage and move people in the run game. Jones could end up being a first-round pick.
2. Parker Brailsford, IOL, Alabama Crimson Tide
Alabama has two losses this season and have had some inconsistent play. They have had a good offense at times and that starts up front with the offensive line. Parker Brailsford has been a good player for the Crimson Tide, anchoring the offensive line from the center position.
For Alabama to win the game against LSU, they will need to control the line of scrimmage. Brailsford is an undersized center prospect, but has good athleticism. He has natural leverage and can get to the second level well. Brailsford has limited length and strength, which could hold him back. With a good finish the season, Brailsford should solidify himself as a day two pick.
3. Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia Bulldogs
Georgia has one loss this season, which came to Alabama. They still have a lot to play for, with a lot of the credit for that going to the defense. On that side of the ball, they have a star in linebacker Jalon Walker. So far this season, Walker has totaled 29 total tackles, six tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks.
This week, the Bulldogs will play Ole Miss, who have a talented offense. Walker can play both off-ball linebacker and rush the passer. His best role is as a pass rusher, as he uses his athleticism to beat offensive linemen and pressure the quarterback. He can be exploited in coverage. The NFL will have to find the right position for him, but he has played well enough to get first-round consideration.
4. Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss Rebels
Ole Miss has two losses and likely need to win out to make the College Football Playoff. Their defense has some talent on it and they have played well this season. They had a few impact transfers, including defensive lineman Walter Nolen. This season, Nolen has totaled 27 total tackles, six tackles for loss and two sacks.
The Rebels could have a good shot to beat Georgia if their defense steps up. Nolen has had a great season for the Rebels, showcasing his good athleticism for his size. He maintains a good pad level and attacks gaps well. Noln could add more strength to his frame and also improve his pass rush moves. He has played well enough to have first-round consideration in the 2025 NL Draft.
5. Antwaun Powell-Ryland, EDGE, Virginia Tech Hokies
Virginia Tech has had an up-and-down season, but are still in contention in the ACC. They have had a good defense and a solid pass rush. Antwaun Powell-Ryland has 30 total tackles, 12 tackles for loss and 11 sacks on the season to help lead the Virginia Tech defense.
Powell-Ryland will be going up against a solid Clemson offensive line this week. He has great sack production this year, which is a testament to his athleticism and flexibility. Powell-Ryland could improve his run defense and his strength to help his stock. He is currently seen as a round one or two player in the 2025 NFL Draft.
