The bowl season gives fans and scouts alike a chance to analyze NFL Draft prospects against solid competition. Bowl scheduling allows all eyes to be on each game. Here are the NFL Draft prospects in the 2024 Sun Bowl.
Louisville Cardinals Draft Prospects
Thor Griffith, DL
Griffith started his college career at Harvard. He spent three seasons with them, then transferred to Louisville this season. Griffith has continued playing well, even at a higher level of play. In 2024, he has 20 total tackles, five tackles for loss and two sacks.
At 6-foot-2 and 320 pounds, Griffith has the size of an NFL interior defensive lineman. His ability to adjust to the ACC well after playing in the Ivy league is a good sign for his future. He will have a chance to make an NFL roster.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Mark Redman, TE
Redman started his college career at Washington, where he spent two seasons. He didn’t play much there, then transferred to San Diego State for the 2022 and 2023 season. Following two successful seasons there, he made the move to Louisville for the 2024 season. In 2024, he has 23 catches for 239 yards and two touchdowns.
He stands at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, which is solid size for an NFL tight end. Redman has plenty of experience and played well this year against tougher competition. He can make roster, but may have to excel in special teams.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
*EDGE Ashton Gillotte has opted out for this bowl game. He is a projected day-two pick.
*CB Quincy Riley has opted out for this bowl game. He is a projected mid-round pick.

Washington Huskies Draft Prospects
Ephesians Prysock, CB
Prysock started his college career at Arizona. He played two seasons there, really making an impact in 2023. Following the 2023 season, he followed his head coach Jedd Fisch to Washington. In 2024, he has 39 total tackles and six passes defended.
At 6-foot-4 and 193 pounds, Prysock has a unique height and length for the position. He can continue to fill out his frame to match up with physical receivers. A return to school could be the best move, where he can focus on making more plays on the ball.
Projected Draft Range: Sixth Round Pick-Undrafted Free Agent
Jonah Coleman, RB
Coleman also started his college career at Arizona, where he spent two seasons. He played well as a freshman and got better as a sophomore before following Fisch to Washington. In his lone season at Washington, Coleman has 1,011 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns.
He stands at 5-foot-9 and 229 pounds, making him a short, but strong running back. Coleman has good power and contact balance. He can make more of an impact in the receiving game. Coleman has stated that he plans to return for the 2025 season.
